Honestly,
I don’t know the difference between heart and mind
You mean to tell me they can’t both be right
Or both be wrong
Or come to a mutual agreement like fully fledged adults
Or agree to disagree
To produce less conflicting results?
Honestly,
I don’t know the difference between want and need
It’s why heart and mind agreed to let you leave
She kisses first
Yet jumps in fright at his touch,
Rigor mortis sets
“There’s no need for aid”
On his sun lit veranda,
Has he known hunger?
The motherland needs:
i. Daughters in authority
ii. Sons with servant hearts
He knows the Script yet
Says the wrong line every scene;
A bad character
Motorbike zooming,
I peek to see how fast but
Speed meter broken
Thunder and lightning-
Kisumu’s new season starts;
In my tummy too…
A profound motto;
Stuck on a packed matatu-
Quite disconcerting!
