To fight their vendettas and feuds

Yet their wealth is a source of great dispute

Who we elect as guardians
Yet on pressing matters remain mute

Who create aid foundations
But in weaponry their shares distribute

Who preach democracy and union
Yet wheel out racist rhetoric for votes to recruit

Who embrace working class veterans
Yet with the upper echelon they are in cahoots

Who for ‘the old days’ fawn
They are scared of women in suits
Beware of women in suits too
Who paint glass ceilings as illusions
Only to the status quo do they contribute
